STOMACH ULCERS

Stomach ulcers, also known as peptic ulcers, are open sores that develop on the inside lining of your stomach or the first part of your small intestine (duodenum). They are a result of a break in the protective mucus layer that lines the stomach, allowing the acid and digestive juices to irritate the sensitive underlying tissue. The most common cause of stomach ulcers is an infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), although other factors such as long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin and ibuprofen, can also lead to ulcers. Symptoms of stomach ulcers include: Abdominal pain or discomfort, which may be relieved temporarily by eating or taking antacids Nausea and vomiting Loss of appetite Weight loss Bloating or fullness after eating Burping or acid reflux Blood in the stool or black, tarry stools If left untreated, stomach ulcers can lead to serious complications such as bleeding, perforation (a hole in the wall of the st...

WHAT'S HIV ACCORDING TO THE ISLAM AND WAYS OF PROTECT SELP FROM IT

In Islam, HIV/AIDS is considered a serious issue and a major public health concern. The Islamic tradition places a strong emphasis on preserving one's health and avoiding behaviors that may harm oneself or others. To protect against HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), Islamic teachings encourage practicing safe sex, such as using condoms or limiting sexual activity to a monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner. Additionally, Muslims are instructed to avoid illicit or extramarital sexual relationships, as these carry a high risk of transmitting HIV and other STIs. In terms of medical treatment for HIV/AIDS, Islam allows for the use of all necessary medical interventions, including antiretroviral therapy (ART) and other treatments, as long as they do not cause harm to the patient or violate other Islamic principles. It's important to note that the Islamic approach to health is centered around the idea of maintaining a balance between physical, mental,...

WHAT'S DIABETES ?

Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the way your body processes glucose, the main source of energy for your body. Glucose comes from the foods you eat and is carried by your blood to the cells of your body. Insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, helps transport glucose into your cells. There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2. In type 1 diabetes, your immune system attacks and destroys the cells in your pancreas that produce insulin, so your body can no longer produce insulin. As a result, you need to take insulin injections or use an insulin pump to regulate your blood sugar levels. In type 2 diabetes, your body becomes resistant to insulin, and over time your pancreas can no longer produce enough insulin to regulate your blood sugar levels effectively. Type 2 diabetes is often associated with obesity and a sedentary lifestyle. Both types of diabetes can lead to serious health complications if not managed properly, such as heart disease, nerve damage, kid...
